Our Programmes

NISKIZE PROGRAMME

A 24-hour free mental health counselling andtherapy program offering pyschological support to people in distress and thus at a risk of dying by suicide. This includes face-to-face individual and group sessions to persons living with long-term health challenges and those dealing with trauma, as well as teenagers and persons struggling with substance abuse.

MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID TRAINING

This is an early intervention education program that teaches the public how to assist someone experiencing a behavioral health crisis. The training teaches skills needed to identify, understand and respond to individuals who may be experiencing signs of a mental illness or substance use disorder.

KIKAO PROGRAMME

A safe space where individuals can speak up about mental health challenges. Through the active group discussions and Unmask Live Show, members are able to normalize mental health challenges, reduce stigma associated with mental health and come up with tailor made solutions to some of the mental health challenges we face.

JITEGEMEE PROGRAMME

An empowerment program to eradicate poverty and lower suicide cases through improving access to sustainable livelihoods, entrepreneurial opportunities, technical training skills and talent support.

EMERGENCY SAFE HOMES PROGRAMME

Unmask Community is establishing emergency safe homes to temporalily house rescued individuals facing gender based violence and housing crisis.
